WELCOME TO THE PAYROLL AND BENEFITS DEPARTMENT
The Payroll and Benefits Department is part of the Business Office and is responsible for processing the payrolls of over 400 full-time and part-time employees and issues over 600 W-2 forms at year end. The Payroll office prepares and balances monthly payroll, maintains compliance of employee benefits per School Employees Benefit Board (SEBB) and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) eligibility guidelines, assists Human Resources with Verification of Employment requests, transmits retirement contributions and hours to the Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) monthly, disburses vendor payments, payroll taxes, voluntary deductions, and wage attachments; maintains the systems' salary and leave tables; and tracks employee leave usage and balances.
The Payroll department is here to serve and assist the employees of Sequim School District.
