Clallam County Symptom Exposure Flowchart 11.2022

New Protocol for Schools

REQUIRE:

  • Students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 are required to isolate at home for five days and inform your school. If symptoms improve after five days and they have had no fever for the past 24 hours without using fever-reducing medications, students and staff can come back to school.
  • Regardless of vaccination status if you have been exposed to COVID-19, but are not  ill, you may continue to attend school. You should consider testing as soon as possible after exposure and wearing a well-fitting mask for 10 days after exposure.
  • Students and staff returning to school after their five days of isolation:
  1. wear a well-fitted mask from days 6 to 10, and
  2.  remain masked for sports and other extracurricular activities on days 6 to 10.

We have FREE/UNLIMITED iHealth Rapid Antigen Home COVID-19 tests available to everyone
(to take home for self-testing). Please be aware the expiry date has been extended indefinitely past what is printed on the box if  the “control line” shows up during the test and they have been stored in a dry location between 36-86 degrees F.
