Sequim School District Families and Staff,

Greywolf Elementary has been all cleared to resume all activities as usual by the Clallam County Sheriff's department as of 11:07 a.m.

Sequim School District Families and Staff,

This morning, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Greywolf Elementary was notified by the Clallam County Sheriff's Department of law enforcement activity in the area. In response, our Greywolf campus transitioned into a shelter-in-place status and staff were notified to keep students inside the building. Shelter-in-place protocol is practiced by students and staff to ensure that school business may continue safely. Classes and inside activities will be conducted as usual. Exterior doors are always locked on the Greywolf Elementary campus and the building is secured throughout the day.

We will continue to follow guidance from our law enforcement partners. Our primary concern is always for the safety of our students and staff, and we appreciate the partnership of local law enforcement in ensuring that our schools can appropriately respond in light of such events. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we follow shelter-in-place protocol and await further word from our sheriff's department.

Further information will be forthcoming as the district continues to navigate the situation.
